Community

Catmon Cebu is an agricultural town with approximately 20,000 residents. It has a 15 kilometer shoreline opposite small mountains. Catmon has a growing number of retirees both foreign and local which means that it is an ideal retirement place for locals and foreigners alike . Catmonfolks are known for their farms and cottage industries and the absence of large factories and industries means that pollution is not a problem. It also boasts protected forests with small waterfalls and hot water springs easily accessible by land. It has 4 government and privately owned High Schools. It has a predominantly laid back atmosphere and people still adhere to the customs as practiced by old Roman Catholics. It has one of the lowest crime rates in Cebu. Electricity rates are lower than in Cebu City, and Catmon has an abundant supply of potable water.
